We should include cacao in our regular diet. It is a superfood! We are exposed to sugar-laden chocolates, and because of that, we can’t appreciate the taste of raw cacao.

The first time I taste cacao nibs, it tastes awful. Sugary taste buds are like an addiction. If you stay away from sugar, your taste buds improve and appreciate the taste of food, even if it has no or less sugar in it. A gradual withdrawal from sugar can help. Sugar is unhealthy anyway.

A few years ago, I chose to eliminate or at least decrease my sugar intake. My taste buds improved and appreciate more food even if it is not sweet. Try it! After a while, it gets easy, and you will be glad you did it.

Some cooks and chefs have concocted viands with cacao in it. We only have to discover every recipe. I think we can create a good mix of cocoa, cacao, and dark chocolate into our daily diet!

I love a hot cocoa drink or shake with cacao nibs or dark chocolate. Most of the people I know love chocolates!

It’s a good thing they have health benefits. It is high in antioxidants, iron, magnesium, and zinc. That makes dark chocolate the most healthy comfort food!

Like hot cacao drinks today and then tomorrow cacao nibs on my oatmeal and then the next day a dessert of high in antioxidants dark chocolate bar, and so on. It will be fun! Healthy and happy!
